I made my business website in the mid 2000s. I had no idea no one could work out which bits were important and which bits were background images, but I had so much fun. I realised my business wouldn't last though. Usability matters.

I never realised layout mattered so much. Now I understand the Gestalt Principles I'll never make the same design mistakes again.
